
Blythe Butler
Blythe is a principled leader with a broad and diverse background in strategic planning, change management and organizational development. She is an accomplished facilitator, trainer and stakeholder engagement specialist who is committed to creating cultures that support adaptive learning. She is passionate about human rights, social justice, sustainability and community development. Blythe has over 12 years experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, including her recent role as a performance measurement and program management consultant in the areas of community investment and corporate social responsibility.
For the past five years, Blythe has been heavily engaged with Leadership Calgary, a community-based leadership development program. This program has had a profound impact on her life journey; deepening her sense of responsibility to work with individuals and organizations to build the capacities required for wise and responsible action.
Blythe is currently the Program Committee Co-chair and member of the Advisory Board for Leadership Calgary. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Volunteer Calgary. In 2008, Blythe was named as one of Calgary’s 'Top 40 Under 40' for her career achievements and contributions to the community. She holds a BComm in Finance and International Development from the University of Alberta, and has studied Journalism at Carleton University and Design Marketing at Parsons in New York City.
