ASTD recently launched a cutting-edge new program called Learning for Multiple Generations Certificate Program in partnership with Bob Johnson of Leadersearch, Inc. You know Bob from ASTD’s Coaching Certificate Program and what a great facilitator he is. Come and learn from Bob on how to leverage the capacity of all generations in your workplace.

A generation can be defined more by what they value, think, feel, and experience than by the date they were born. Today's successful organization must enhance learning so that it engages all generations. Participants will leave this program with techniques and methods that work best for the four generations represented in today's dynamic workforce regarding communication, motivation, feedback, and values.

Learning Objectives
After this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize key differences between the four generations represented in today’s workplace.
  • Design and deliver training programs that are generation appropriate.
  • Learn how to communicate, motivate and give feedback across the generations.
  • Use leadership skills to manage and mentor individuals from each generation.
  • Create a plan for moving forward and bridging the gap between generations in the workplace.
