At Dome Petroleum I had over 150 people in my department and had an urgent requirement to upgrade the leadership capabilities of my supervisory staff. Bob's group helped train this staff team in a classroom setting and provide individual coaching to the leaders. The resultant increased productivity was very evident and enabled me to communicate to senior executives, in very quantifiable terms, the status and improvements to my organization.
At Devon Canada Corporation I was moved into a position where the department was completely dysfunctional from an organizational perspective. Bob coached me on my decisions to dramatically change the management for the group. I passed the new management by Bob so that he could vet the candidates and then advise me as to how to optimally manage the individuals. His coaching not only provided me with the best supervisors but allowed me to make decisions regarding assigning the right people with the right tasks.
